Mahogany Blanket Box – Spotlight

At Lock Stock & Barrel Furniture we have some attractive and functional solid mahogany blanket boxes. Blanket boxes are very useful pieces of bedroom furniture, especially when wanting extra storage room. They are ideally placed at the foot of the bed, making easy access to blankets in the middle of the night. Other items can of course be stored in them depending on your needs but they are a great storage solution to keep all types of bed linen. They are quite large and deep so many blankets and sheets can be folded up and stored with ease. They can also have small items placed on the top like a table when the boxes are closed. This makes them very versatile pieces of furniture.

As usual all of our items of mahogany furniture are made from the highest quality wood. Bespoke options are available. For example although both of our boxes are finished with a wax polish they can be finished in another paint or polish. The measurements can also be altered.

Our Mahogany Blanket Boxes

Our Sleigh mahogany blanket box is part of our sleigh bedroom range. It will therefore match these other items but similarly will look great in other bedroom ranges because of its subtle style. The sides are panelled with the top plain and smooth. It is finished in a traditional wax polish which enhances the colour of the natural mahogany wood. The dimensions are: H50 x W90 x D55 cms.

Sleigh Mahogany Blanket Box

Our Gothic mahogany blanket box is a very ornately carved piece. The sides are panelled with a plain smooth top. Either side features a hand carved gothic styled motif which is reminiscent of gothic windows and architecture. Four Twisted pillars also feature on either side of the box. The box is finished with a traditional wax polish to enhance the colour of the natural wood. The dimensions are: H 50cm x W 90cm x D 47cm.
