Bespoke Mahogany Desks

Did you know we can make bespoke mahogany desks to your requirements? We sell a large selection of mahogany desks but if you cannot find the desk you want within our standard selection we can make one just for you. This means that you can design the desk that best suits your requirements.

Standard Mahogany Desks

Our standard range includes antique reproduction partners desks in a choice of sizes; reproduction computer desks; kneehole; pedestal and kidney desks. Other styles include a traditional Chippendale escritoire; secretary desk and 3 drawer writing desk. A bespoke desk can be based on any of these standard desks or, if you have seen a desk you like elsewhere, just send us a picture and we can get you a quote.

All of the desks are handmade from solid mahogany using traditional techniques and drawers are dovetailed ensuring quality throughout.

Bespoke Options

Desk measurements can be changed including width and depth. Minimal height alterations can also be made. We can also alter drawer configuration as well as handles (e.g. swan handles can be changed to cup handles). A choice of leather colours for inlaid desk tops is available including brown, green, burgundy and black.

Steps involved in ordering bespoke mahogany desks

Step 1: Contact us: Let us have a brief description of what it is you would like. i.e image, sketch, dimensions and finish etc. We will let you know if we require any further information. When we receive a bespoke enquiry, we send our supplier the design details including the required dimensions and any diagrams or images that have been provided to request a quote.

Step 2: Quote: We will supply you with a written quote and lead-time for the item (usually within 2-3 working days). We will often supply a diagram detailing the design and dimensions with the quotation. 

Step 3: Placing the order: Once the details have been approved and you are ready to confirm your order a deposit payment will be required. We may provide technical drawings once the order is placed and deposit received although they are not always supplied if only a small change is to be made. We will add the details to our system and supply an order confirmation invoice via email, invoice and delivery address will be required at this stage along with contact telephone number.

Step 4: Production: The order will be placed with our supplier once the deposit is received. This is a non-refundable deposit once the furniture is in production. Images of the item will be supplied via email in the raw state for approval. Some changes can be made at this stage if required. More images will also be supplied when the pieces are finished and ready to be sent for final approval. The approximate lead-time for bespoke furniture is 12-16 weeks. If alterations are made during the process it may take a little longer.

Step 5: Delivery: We will contact you once the furniture is due to arrive into stock to confirm arrival and take balance payment. Once the final payment has been made, we will pass the details to our courier to arrange delivery.
