One of our best selling and most ornate Four Poster Beds at Lock Stock and Barrel must be the Tudor Style Four Poster<\/a>. This bed is certainly a grand statement piece, delivering on sheer size as well as the amount of\u00a0detailing. Many man hours has gone into hand carving all of the elaborate detailing, all of which really shows.<\/p>\n

As the name would suggest this bed is an authentic representation of a bed from the Tudor period. This is evident from the intricate flower and leaf detailing, especially visible on the headboard and the footboard. The grandeur of the detailing would have looked perfectly at place in a stately or royal household of the time. That’s not to say this bed is at all out of place in a more modern setting, it would fit wonderfully with any other more chunky modern furniture.<\/p>\n

The bed is available in antique white paint or finished with a traditional wax polish to enhance the colour of the rich mahogany wood. Other bespoke paint finishes are available, you can even have the bed completed in a dazzling real gold leaf finish. We recommend pairing the bed with our Carved Bedsides<\/a>, these can be colour matched and feature similar flower carved detailing. They are handy to have on either or one side of our beds as they feature a drawer and a small cupboard. Perfect to place lamps on.<\/p>\n
