English Serpentine Chest (1063-16M)
English serpentine chest is made from excellent quality walnut and mahogany veneer on solid beech carcass. Contains four drawers finished with solid brass sunburst handles and fitted turn key locks. There is a narrow primavera inlay edging to the drawers with a pretty marquetry leaf design. Handcrafted with dove tail joints. The top also has a primavera inlaid edge. The front of the chest is the traditional serpentine shape with fluted columns to either side. Finished with high gloss lacquer in a brown shade.
This item of furniture is handmade and unique with the differences in grain and pattern enhancing its natural beauty.
